Narrative:

Alcohol was involved as it usually is. Though we now limit drinks to passenger to one at a time, the man's companion ordered cocktails on two separate occasions. (He ordered doubles and was only served singles) and passed them to him. He had 4 cognacs (one per service, per him and two his companion passed him) and a split of red wine (we do not know how he obtained that) within a 2 1/2 hour time frame. During the cocktail service, all passenger on my side ordered alcohol, except two. This was also a factor in the 2 men who got up to yell at him and tell him to situation down. If the airlines charged for alcohol in coach, these people would not consume the exorbitant amounts of alcohol and occurrences such as this would be minimal. Police arrested passenger at deplaning. Analyst summary of attached sheets: cabin attendant assigned to an air carrier B767-300 flight experienced difficulty with an unruly passenger who became intoxicated on alcohol served to him, together with wine apparently furnished by himself and a friend passenger. He continued to disrupt the cabin attendants duty free services and lean against the attendant. Also became hostile to another attendant trying to de-fuse the situation. Other passenger became involved in trying to help the attendants seat the passenger and others that became fearful of the drunken passenger's actions. Finally, the captain was apprised of the situation and sent the first officer back to help. The first officer threatened the passenger with being arrested after landing if he did not situation down. The matter was finally terminated after landing when the passenger was arrested by the police.
