Narrative:

Location: airport, elp. After landing runway 22 we were told to clear at taxiway F and hold short of runway 8 approach end. First officer began after landing check and called hold short as another flight told tower we were not holding short. I had already begun to brake and went over the line by about 10 ft but still not on the actual overrun. We told the tower that we had stopped over the line. I guess the hold short instruction did not register with me and I just happened to brake because things just didn't look right. There could be a little fatigue factor because we had made the XX00 am departure to chicago and returned with a fly through dfw.
