Narrative:

Rno runway for back course runway 34L approach. Visibility minimum for approach. Reports of dropping visibility. Inbound from hth with very critical heart patient. Tower asked me to report runway in sight and plan to side-step to runway 34R. I am pretty sure and acknowledged I held minimum and continued towards missed approach. At approximately one half mi from runway, I confirmed field in sight and they said cleared to land. I did not hear sidestep and might have confirmed cleared to land runway 34R. As I was taxiing in I thought about it and asked whether I was cleared left or right. They said left, but they were watching me and the aircraft was clear or had cleared runway. I saw the airliner on taxiway and nothing on landing runway.
