Narrative:

In sum: while in the boids 4 arrival to dfw at PM43Z, flight crossed didly intersection/bridgeport 108 degree radial and 15 mi DME at 11500 ft vice assigned 11000 ft. Flight had been speed restr to 250 KTS from ardmor/adm/VOR. Heading 150 degrees had been assigned to cut the corner and intercept the boids 4 arrival east of bpr VOR. Winds at altitude were 280 degrees at 80 KTS. When flight made heading change from the assigned 150 degrees to intercept the bpr 108 degree radial ground speed increased approximately 50 KTS due to the increased tailwind component. Combined speed restr and increased ground speed caused the crossing at didly to be at 11500 ft vice assigned 11000 ft.

Title: ALTDEV ALT UNDERSHOT IN DSCNT, ALT XING RESTR NOT MET.

Narrative: IN SUM: WHILE IN THE BOIDS 4 ARR TO DFW AT PM43Z, FLT CROSSED DIDLY INTXN/BRIDGEPORT 108 DEG RADIAL AND 15 MI DME AT 11500 FT VICE ASSIGNED 11000 FT. FLT HAD BEEN SPD RESTR TO 250 KTS FROM ARDMOR/ADM/VOR. HDG 150 DEGS HAD BEEN ASSIGNED TO CUT THE CORNER AND INTERCEPT THE BOIDS 4 ARR E OF BPR VOR. WINDS AT ALT WERE 280 DEGS AT 80 KTS. WHEN FLT MADE HDG CHANGE FROM THE ASSIGNED 150 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE BPR 108 DEG RADIAL GND SPD INCREASED APPROX 50 KTS DUE TO THE INCREASED TAILWIND COMPONENT. COMBINED SPD RESTR AND INCREASED GND SPD CAUSED THE XING AT DIDLY TO BE AT 11500 FT VICE ASSIGNED 11000 FT.
