Narrative:

On the day of this reported incident, the PIC missed his altitude while on a STAR by approximately 3000 ft. Upon notice of his error, he adjusted his power and descended to his appropriate altitude as soon as possible. This situation could have been avoided by more concentration by the pilot and more alertness of myself as copilot.
