Narrative:

Aircraft was landed gear-up as a result of the left main landing gear failing to lock down. This caused damage to the lower fuselage belly skins, bulkheads, stringers, propeller, associated belly antennas and associated rivets and fasteners. The suspect component which caused the gear up landing was the original part (gear pivot assembly). The suspect failed gear pivot also is affected by cessna service bulletin SEB90-1, rev 2.

Title: PLT OF A CESSNA 177R LANDED GEAR UP WHEN THE L MAIN GEAR FAILED TO LOCK DOWN. IT WAS LATER DETERMINED THAT THE GEAR PIVOT ASSEMBLY FAILED WHICH WAS COVERED BY A MANUFACTURER SVC BULLETIN.

Narrative: ACFT WAS LANDED GEAR-UP AS A RESULT OF THE L MAIN LNDG GEAR FAILING TO LOCK DOWN.
