Narrative:
Small aircraft X checked in on guard 121.5. Didn't know tower frequency. (Good preflight training and preparation current VFR sectional?) came up on tower frequency reporting 3 mi from airport at 1500 ft violated class D airspace. Also cutting off a PA28 that reported 6 mi east inbound before the call from the X. Lack of preparation is amazing.
