Narrative:
Immediately after takeoff in a light weight ATR-42 from hnl runway 8L (full length), I realized that I was climbing right through the left downwind VFR traffic pattern for hnl runway 4 (left or right). There was 1 aircraft (a light red biplane) on that downwind. There would have been a near miss if that aircraft had been 10-15 seconds slower in crossing over runway 8L. I doubt that hnl ATC recognizes the climb angle associated with a light ATR-42. The biplane was not idented to me as traffic by the tower as I was cleared for takeoff.

Title: MULTIPLE RWY OP INTERSECTING RWYS ACR X HAD CONFLICT WITH BIPLANE ON DOWNWIND FOR INTERSECTING RWY.
Narrative: IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF IN A LIGHT WT ATR-42 FROM HNL RWY 8L (FULL LENGTH), I REALIZED THAT I WAS CLBING RIGHT THROUGH THE L DOWNWIND VFR TFC PATTERN FOR HNL RWY 4 (L OR R). THERE WAS 1 ACFT (A LIGHT RED BIPLANE) ON THAT DOWNWIND. THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A NEAR MISS IF THAT ACFT HAD BEEN 10-15 SECONDS SLOWER IN XING OVER RWY 8L. I DOUBT THAT HNL ATC RECOGNIZES THE CLB ANGLE ASSOCIATED WITH A LIGHT ATR-42. THE BIPLANE WAS NOT IDENTED TO ME AS TFC BY THE TWR AS I WAS CLRED FOR TKOF.
