Narrative:

During an FAA en route inspection it was discovered that my flight manual part 1 was 1 revision behind. Subsequent to the flight on further inspection I discovered that I had put in the revision but failed to enter it in the record. This is not the first time that has happened to me. In the future I will leave the revision summary page in the front of my manual when I do a revision. This should assist me if I forget to enter the date in the revision record again.
