Narrative:

On takeoff, tower handed off to departure frequency. Departure frequency tuned in was 124.95 which was contacted without any result. Went back to tower frequency of 128.3 for pit runway 28R. Asked for departure frequency number. Tower gave 124.75. 124.75 was contacted for departure. 124.75 asked us to reset the transponder code, we did, and acknowledged our check in. No further incidents. After thinking about the event, maybe the takeoff was made without the pre departure clearance.
