Narrative:

During descent into atl from 25 northwest rmg to rmg. Encountered moderate turbulence. There had been no pilot reports about chop and there were no echoes on radar indicating moderate or heavy precipitation. The flight attendants were picking up trays in preparation for landing and aircraft was descending from FL250 to 160. Flight attendants X and Y were injured when they contacted the ceiling during the turbulence. We notified the paramedics and they met the aircraft at the gate both flight attendants expressed their intention of seeing physicians within the next several days.

Title: 2 FLT ATTENDANTS WERE HURT IN TURB.

Narrative: DURING DSCNT INTO ATL FROM 25 NW RMG TO RMG. ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURB. THERE HAD BEEN NO PLT RPTS ABOUT CHOP AND THERE WERE NO ECHOES ON RADAR INDICATING MODERATE OR HVY PRECIPITATION. THE FLT ATTENDANTS WERE PICKING UP TRAYS IN PREPARATION FOR LNDG AND ACFT WAS DSNDING FROM FL250 TO 160. FLT ATTENDANTS X AND Y WERE INJURED WHEN THEY CONTACTED THE CEILING DURING THE TURB. WE NOTIFIED THE PARAMEDICS AND THEY MET THE ACFT AT THE GATE BOTH FLT ATTENDANTS EXPRESSED THEIR INTENTION OF SEEING PHYSICIANS WITHIN THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
