Narrative:

I have flown out of hobby for the last 25 yrs. I've flown for this airline for the last 6 yrs and corp for 18 yrs prior. If you think you know an airport, we all need to think twice. We were cleared to hold short of runway 4 at intersection C. After aircraft landed, was cleared to cross runway 4, taxi to runway 31L via taxiway C. Taxiway C, now make a hard l- hand turn and go to the north side of runway 30R. Being cleared to runway 30L, I just knew I could cross runway 30R without any problems. Not thinking and head up and locked, I made a r- hand turn onto taxiway K, crossed runway 30R and l-hand on taxiway M. My first officer said something, but it didn't register! I asked ground if there would be a problem, and they said no. I did look both ways before crossing and no one was taking off or landing. But that doesn't do a lot of good if you don't have clearance. We were in the middle of the checklist when we crossed. Trying to taxi, look where you're going and doing a checklist can sometimes be distracting. I'll choose not to run the checklist until all runways are crossed and we're going straight. Just goes to show, that even someone with my time in and out of this airport, can make mistakes.

Title: CAPT OF AN ACR MLG INADVERTENTLY TAXIED ACROSS AN ACTIVE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative: I HAVE FLOWN OUT OF HOBBY FOR THE LAST 25 YRS. I'VE FLOWN FOR THIS AIRLINE FOR THE LAST 6 YRS AND CORP FOR 18 YRS PRIOR. IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW AN ARPT, WE ALL NEED TO THINK TWICE. WE WERE CLRED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 4 AT INTXN C. AFTER ACFT LANDED, WAS CLRED TO CROSS RWY 4, TAXI TO RWY 31L VIA TXWY C. TXWY C, NOW MAKE A HARD L- HAND TURN AND GO TO THE N SIDE OF RWY 30R. BEING CLRED TO RWY 30L, I JUST KNEW I COULD CROSS RWY 30R WITHOUT ANY PROBS. NOT THINKING AND HEAD UP AND LOCKED, I MADE A R- HAND TURN ONTO TXWY K, CROSSED RWY 30R AND L-HAND ON TXWY M. MY FO SAID SOMETHING, BUT IT DIDN'T REGISTER! I ASKED GND IF THERE WOULD BE A PROB, AND THEY SAID NO. I DID LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE XING AND NO ONE WAS TAKING OFF OR LNDG. BUT THAT DOESN'T DO A LOT OF GOOD IF YOU DON'T HAVE CLRNC. WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHKLIST WHEN WE CROSSED. TRYING TO TAXI, LOOK WHERE YOU'RE GOING AND DOING A CHKLIST CAN SOMETIMES BE DISTRACTING. I'LL CHOOSE NOT TO RUN THE CHKLIST UNTIL ALL RWYS ARE CROSSED AND WE'RE GOING STRAIGHT. JUST GOES TO SHOW, THAT EVEN SOMEONE WITH MY TIME IN AND OUT OF THIS ARPT, CAN MAKE MISTAKES.
