Narrative:

Landing gear would not come up after takeoff. Uneventful return to airport. After returning to gate it was found that gear pins were still installed. Airplane had been used for filming a commercial earlier in the day. Red gear pin streamers had been rolled up and taped inside wheel wells so they would not show in filming. Maintenance forgot to remove pins after filming. Captain did exterior preflight and did not notice that the pins were in. (We were not told about filming until later.) a prior airline I worked for always did a maintenance write-up for 'gear pins installed,' 'gear pins removed.' we do not do that here. It certainly would have prevented this from happening.
