Narrative:

On departure from rdu to cvg, the landing gear did not retract when the lever was selected up. The quick reference handbook was used by the crew with negative results. The captain called company dispatch and maintenance via a phone patch with atlanta radio. It was decided that the flight would continue to cvg. Landing at cvg was uneventful. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the aircraft operated on this flight was an embraer brasilia, emb-120 (E120), and that he or the captain had not heard any feedback from the company regarding the problem found with the gear retraction system. The aircraft was taken directly to maintenance after the termination of their flight.
