Narrative:

I did not realize there was a problem until I landed in brenham, tx, and was called to speak to someone on the phone. The person calling asked several questions about my flight, flight path and altitude, which I answered for him. He then informed me that I had flown through a restr area which is not usually there and had violated FAA rules. He asked if I had gotten NOTAMS before the flight, to which I responded no. He then told me the FAA would be in touch. I did not get the man's name or the department he was with. I had received an automated WX briefing earlier before the flight but did not get NOTAMS. Shortly after getting off the phone with this person, I called for a complete WX briefing back to denton from brenham, the opposite route I had just flown. When NOTAMS were given this area was not covered. It took another call to the FSS and specific questioning about this area before the briefer was able to read me the NOTAM. Another briefing later in the day for the return route and still another the next morning for the route flown the day before, where the briefer covered NOTAMS, was this restr airspace mentioned. I was also talking with regional approach as I departed dallas that morning. When they released me to squawk VFR 25-30 mi southwest of dfw, knowing the course and destination, there was no mention of any restr airspace in my flight path or suggestion for flight following from waco approach.

Narrative: I DID NOT REALIZE THERE WAS A PROB UNTIL I LANDED IN BRENHAM, TX, AND WAS CALLED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ON THE PHONE. THE PERSON CALLING ASKED SEVERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MY FLT, FLT PATH AND ALT, WHICH I ANSWERED FOR HIM. HE THEN INFORMED ME THAT I HAD FLOWN THROUGH A RESTR AREA WHICH IS NOT USUALLY THERE AND HAD VIOLATED FAA RULES. HE ASKED IF I HAD GOTTEN NOTAMS BEFORE THE FLT, TO WHICH I RESPONDED NO. HE THEN TOLD ME THE FAA WOULD BE IN TOUCH. I DID NOT GET THE MAN'S NAME OR THE DEPT HE WAS WITH. I HAD RECEIVED AN AUTOMATED WX BRIEFING EARLIER BEFORE THE FLT BUT DID NOT GET NOTAMS. SHORTLY AFTER GETTING OFF THE PHONE WITH THIS PERSON, I CALLED FOR A COMPLETE WX BRIEFING BACK TO DENTON FROM BRENHAM, THE OPPOSITE RTE I HAD JUST FLOWN. WHEN NOTAMS WERE GIVEN THIS AREA WAS NOT COVERED. IT TOOK ANOTHER CALL TO THE FSS AND SPECIFIC QUESTIONING ABOUT THIS AREA BEFORE THE BRIEFER WAS ABLE TO READ ME THE NOTAM. ANOTHER BRIEFING LATER IN THE DAY FOR THE RETURN RTE AND STILL ANOTHER THE NEXT MORNING FOR THE RTE FLOWN THE DAY BEFORE, WHERE THE BRIEFER COVERED NOTAMS, WAS THIS RESTR AIRSPACE MENTIONED.
