ACARS sent and received requested information (clearance, takeoff performance, etc) for our own and various other aircraft. Made redundant requests via voice after receiving bad information. Potential serious problem if clearance, etc, received for another aircraft and unknown to crew members! Important to verify correct aircraft 'flight information header' for each message received.
