Narrative:
I landed on runway 18R at dallas, and was told to hold short of runway 18L. As I approached the hold line for runway 18L, my ear piece pulled out of my ear as I looked left. When I looked up, my first officer was waving for me to cross now, 'keep it moving' he said. I saw the lights come on the medium large transport waiting in position. When I got across I saw the medium large transport had started moving and was told to call the tower. I asked the first officer why he waved me on. He said he thought we were cleared to cross. He screwed up and I trusted him. Well, well.
