Narrative:

Some confusion as to what departure said we were cleared for. Company flight plan called for 'laxx one' departure and pre departure clearance clearance received via ACARS cleared us for 'laxx one' departure but also tagged on the 'loop nine' departure out of lax. Both departures, require radar however we still question lax departure control which route they wanted us on. We received radar vectors for the 'loop nine' and complied. Pre departure clearance messages should be more specific.
