Narrative:

Pilot desired to repos old small aircraft taildragger to wash aircraft. Pilot was by himself and did not have tiedown rope (aircraft was in private hangar) to tie aircraft down. Pilot attempted to hand propeller aircraft using chocks. Aircraft started, but throttle was too far advanced and aircraft jumped chocks. Pilot grabbed right wing strut and attempted to slow aircraft so he could reach throttle. Aircraft drug pilot in 3 or 4 circles before pilot lost hand hold. Aircraft engaged private hangar adjacent to aircraft's own hangar. Occasionally, someone will do something stupid and get away with it. Other times, they don't. I guess the fact that I can still write and that I only received minor abrasions indicates that I actually got away with it. Aircraft and hangar can be repaired. My arm and my butt will heal. My ego may take a little longer.

Title: TAILDRAGGER SMA DRAGS PLT AROUND HANGAR IN A RUNAWAY TYPE EVENT AFTER PLT HAS HAND PROPPED ACFT.

Narrative: PLT DESIRED TO REPOS OLD SMA TAILDRAGGER TO WASH ACFT. PLT WAS BY HIMSELF AND DID NOT HAVE TIEDOWN ROPE (ACFT WAS IN PRIVATE HANGAR) TO TIE ACFT DOWN. PLT ATTEMPTED TO HAND PROP ACFT USING CHOCKS. ACFT STARTED, BUT THROTTLE WAS TOO FAR ADVANCED AND ACFT JUMPED CHOCKS. PLT GRABBED R WING STRUT AND ATTEMPTED TO SLOW ACFT SO HE COULD REACH THROTTLE. ACFT DRUG PLT IN 3 OR 4 CIRCLES BEFORE PLT LOST HAND HOLD. ACFT ENGAGED PRIVATE HANGAR ADJACENT TO ACFT'S OWN HANGAR. OCCASIONALLY, SOMEONE WILL DO SOMETHING STUPID AND GET AWAY WITH IT. OTHER TIMES, THEY DON'T. I GUESS THE FACT THAT I CAN STILL WRITE AND THAT I ONLY RECEIVED MINOR ABRASIONS INDICATES THAT I ACTUALLY GOT AWAY WITH IT. ACFT AND HANGAR CAN BE REPAIRED. MY ARM AND MY BUTT WILL HEAL. MY EGO MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER.
