Narrative:
Air carrier X told to hold short of runway 32 taxiing to gate which we were. The ground controller then cleared us across runway 32. As I started to move I suddenly realized she also was crossing another aircraft in the opp direction. I immediately stopped and let aircraft Y turn in front of us. I had to make an abrupt stop to prevent an aircraft collision.

Title: ACR X HAD GND CONFLICT WITH ACFT Y.
Narrative: ACR X TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 32 TAXIING TO GATE WHICH WE WERE. THE GND CTLR THEN CLRED US ACROSS RWY 32. AS I STARTED TO MOVE I SUDDENLY REALIZED SHE ALSO WAS XING ANOTHER ACFT IN THE OPP DIRECTION. I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED AND LET ACFT Y TURN IN FRONT OF US. I HAD TO MAKE AN ABRUPT STOP TO PREVENT AN ACFT COLLISION.
