Narrative:

Air carrier X turned final approach on visual behind widebody transport about 6 mi ahead of us. Landed on runway 33 and was making high speed exit at F when tower called and said to follow widebody transport on the inner taxiway. Swung wide to take inner and didn't see any other aircraft except an light transport that just exited runway 28. Then the widebody transport called and said he didn't like being cut off on taxiway. I called the tower to see if he was referring to the light transport but found out it was the widebody transport. We never saw the widebody transport and assumed it must have been to the right since we were told to go on inner. But from what I gather he must have not cleared F and was to left on outer with lights out. With him 6 mi ahead he should have been at his gate by the time we landed and I wasn't expecting him to be there. Also, when clearing a high speed exit off a runway, the tower should have had the widebody transport hold short. Supplemental information from acn 242274: we were exiting runway 33L at taxiway F. I did not hear the tower's instruction as we turned off the runway. The captain said 'to the ramp' so I read back 'to the ramp air carrier X gate X.' as we were taxiing in we heard another aircraft say 'I think its not safe for air carrier X not to comply with your taxi instructions.' at the gate the captain asked the tower if that aircraft was talking about us. The tower said '...yes, you were instructed to give way to the widebody transport and taxi to the ramp.' the captain said he never saw the widebody transport.' I did not hear the taxi instructions. The controller should have had the widebody transport yield to us since we were exiting the runway at higher than taxi speed.

Title: ACR X NON ADHERENCE TO ATC INSTRUCTIONS HAD GND CONFLICT WITH WDB. PLTDEV.

Narrative: ACR X TURNED FINAL APCH ON VISUAL BEHIND WDB ABOUT 6 MI AHEAD OF US. LANDED ON RWY 33 AND WAS MAKING HIGH SPD EXIT AT F WHEN TWR CALLED AND SAID TO FOLLOW WDB ON THE INNER TXWY. SWUNG WIDE TO TAKE INNER AND DIDN'T SEE ANY OTHER ACFT EXCEPT AN LTT THAT JUST EXITED RWY 28. THEN THE WDB CALLED AND SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE BEING CUT OFF ON TXWY. I CALLED THE TWR TO SEE IF HE WAS REFERRING TO THE LTT BUT FOUND OUT IT WAS THE WDB. WE NEVER SAW THE WDB AND ASSUMED IT MUST HAVE BEEN TO THE R SINCE WE WERE TOLD TO GO ON INNER. BUT FROM WHAT I GATHER HE MUST HAVE NOT CLRED F AND WAS TO L ON OUTER WITH LIGHTS OUT. WITH HIM 6 MI AHEAD HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT HIS GATE BY THE TIME WE LANDED AND I WASN'T EXPECTING HIM TO BE THERE. ALSO, WHEN CLRING A HIGH SPD EXIT OFF A RWY, THE TWR SHOULD HAVE HAD THE WDB HOLD SHORT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 242274: WE WERE EXITING RWY 33L AT TXWY F. I DID NOT HEAR THE TWR'S INSTRUCTION AS WE TURNED OFF THE RWY. THE CAPT SAID 'TO THE RAMP' SO I READ BACK 'TO THE RAMP ACR X GATE X.' AS WE WERE TAXIING IN WE HEARD ANOTHER ACFT SAY 'I THINK ITS NOT SAFE FOR ACR X NOT TO COMPLY WITH YOUR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS.' AT THE GATE THE CAPT ASKED THE TWR IF THAT ACFT WAS TALKING ABOUT US. THE TWR SAID '...YES, YOU WERE INSTRUCTED TO GIVE WAY TO THE WDB AND TAXI TO THE RAMP.' THE CAPT SAID HE NEVER SAW THE WDB.' I DID NOT HEAR THE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS. THE CTLR SHOULD HAVE HAD THE WDB YIELD TO US SINCE WE WERE EXITING THE RWY AT HIGHER THAN TAXI SPD.
