Departing ZZZ; number 2 engine lp vib indicated 4.0 yellow. Executed engine vibration checklist which didn't eliminate the vibration. We requested priority handling and returned to ZZZ to make a normal landing.

Title: EMB-175 Captain reported excessive vibration indication on Number 2 engine; resulting in an air turnback to the departure airport.
Narrative: Departing ZZZ; Number 2 engine LP VIB indicated 4.0 yellow. Executed engine vibration checklist which didn't eliminate the vibration. We requested priority handling and returned to ZZZ to make a normal landing.
