Narrative:
After the coffee pot leaked; flight attendant reported a burning like smell from around the forward oven. No smoke or fumes. Smell stopped after they turned the oven off. We were a few minutes from starting our descent. Since there was no smoke or fumes and the odor stopped I elected to continue with a normal descent and landing. I concluded it was most likely due to the excessive leak from the coffee maker.
