Narrative:

On 10/thu/90, I was working the xx to X0 shift at ZDC. At XX00 local I was at the R54 sector with a moderate or grater level of traffic. I descended medium large transport from FL290 to FL240. Shortly thereafter the C/a was activated and I became aware of a conflict with widebody transport at FL280. I issued medium large transport a turn to heading 090 degrees and called traffic. Medium large transport accepted clearance and called traffic in sight. Widebody transport was issued a turn to 270 degrees and traffic was called. Widebody transport read back the clearance and called the traffic in sight. The aircraft passed with horizontal sep and were cleared back on course.
