Narrative:

Small aircraft lns shirt V5 luk at 12000' and small transport cvg gaill 4 cmh at 10000'. Small aircraft was in an area where he needed to start his descend for luk. I descended small aircraft to 11000'. The pilot read back, 'I'm out of 1-2000 for 1-1 (short pause), 1-0-thousand.' several seconds later I rogered for the transmission. As the aircraft started his descent, normal sector operations when on. Passage had now taken place behind the nebnd small transport. I noticed 10700' in the data block of small aircraft. I asked the pilot his altitude (I thought possible mode C error). Pilot said, 'I'm out of 105 for 100.' I proceeded to call cmza controller and point out small aircraft. His response: 'I've been watching.' I proceeded to climb small aircraft back to 11000'. C/a and odep activated at same time. It all boils down to a missed readback.
