Narrative:

Aircraft had an aft lav inop due to a waste can flapper valve and the APU bleed inop. At the time I contacted maintenance control and was told the aircraft would be full on [both legs]. I was to keep the aircraft; all the way; and was concerned about the reduction in lavs. Maintenance said they were unable to repair; so I refused the aircraft for safety related issues of people gathering in both lavs to utilize the reduced facilities.
