Narrative:

I was instructing at the manual position. We were busy coordinating. I looked up and saw the C/a for air carrier X and cpr Y. I asked the radar controller what he was doing. At that time he started to vector the aircraft from each other. We had other coordination to do, so we accomplished that. They got within 4.4 mi, same altitude, but it was controled. Other than that, I can't say anymore. We were busy doing our job. In my opinion, the radar controller took the right action. Just didn't turn the aircraft enough.
