Narrative:

Soon after beginning descent from fl 350 in icing conditions but with no icing observed; and with engine anti-ice on; captains pfd airspeed indication dropped rapidly into the hook followed by yaw damper 1 and ats (autothrust system) switches tripping off. Soon thereafter engine 1 N1 mode faulted. Transferred aircraft control from captain to first officer. Captain switched air data computer (air data computer) to sys 2 and recovered flight instruments. As captain (pilot monitoring now) was accomplishing ECAM procedures for engine 1 N1 mode fault; engine 2 N1 mode also faulted. Selected altn N1 mode on both engines. Yaw damper 1 would not reset. ECAM directed crew to QRH N1 mode fault procedure. Since both engine N1 modes had faulted crew elected to continue flight with both in N1 modes in altn and ats inop due to uncertainty of cause and complied with engine altn mode QRH checklist.landed with both engines in altn N1 mode; captain air data computer selected to sys 2; yaw damper 1 off; and ats inop. Crew worked well together to deal with the problem and land safely. System malfunctions as yet to be determined by maintenance.

Title: A300 flight crew reported multiple system failures and both engines N1 Mode faulted; which required the selection of Alternate N1 Mode. Flight crew dealt with the problems and landed safely.

Narrative: Soon after beginning descent from FL 350 in icing conditions but with no icing observed; and with engine anti-ice ON; Captains PFD airspeed indication dropped rapidly into the hook followed by Yaw Damper 1 and ATS (Autothrust System) switches tripping off. Soon thereafter Engine 1 N1 Mode faulted. Transferred aircraft control from Captain to First Officer. Captain switched ADC (Air Data Computer) to Sys 2 and recovered flight instruments. Since both engine N1 Modes had faulted crew elected to continue flight with both in N1 Modes in ALTN and ATS inop due to uncertainty of cause and complied with ENG ALTN Mode QRH Checklist.Landed with both engines in ALTN N1 Mode; Captain ADC selected to Sys 2; Yaw Damper 1 Off; and ATS inop. Crew worked well together to deal with the problem and land safely. System malfunctions as yet to be determined by maintenance.
