Narrative:

I took off from runway 30, tan, approximately XX30 hours, 2/sun/90, and headed to MA02 for some shortfield work. Arrived over MA02, 3000', XX50 hours. The tetrahedron indicated the wind was light and variable--mostly a direct crosswind. Traffic was a high wing floatplane landing on runway 36. Additionally, an small aircraft reported (CTAF 122.9) entering downwind for runway 36 at cranland. I flew my aircraft northwest, descending to 1100' 5 mi out, reversed course and entered downwind for runway 36 (also announced position over 122.9). The small aircraft, now on ground, called out seeing a twin to the west. As I turned base leg, I caught sight of a red and white small aircraft Y at the same altitude, passing over the end of runway 36, heading east. I announced turning base leg and later turning final for runway 36 over CTAF 122.9. Cranland airport has a 1800' gravel runway oriented north/south, with 20-30 trees over the end of runway 36. During the landing flare I was concentrating on the landing. After T/D and decelerating, I looked up and saw the small aircraft Y on low final from the opp direction. The small aircraft Y executed a go around, but not before descending to within 50' of the ground. At the time of the go around, my aircraft was over halfway down the runway at less than 30 KTS. No evasive was taken, however my only possible out would have been to roll out off the runway. During the time from 5 mi out to the rollout, I never heard the small aircraft Y on CTAF or was aware of its intentions. My radio was operable as I was talking to other traffic in the pattern.

Title: CONFLICT BETWEEN ACFT ON THE RWY AT UNCONTROLLED ARPT.

Narrative: I TOOK OFF FROM RWY 30, TAN, APPROX XX30 HRS, 2/SUN/90, AND HEADED TO MA02 FOR SOME SHORTFIELD WORK. ARRIVED OVER MA02, 3000', XX50 HRS. THE TETRAHEDRON INDICATED THE WIND WAS LIGHT AND VARIABLE--MOSTLY A DIRECT XWIND. TFC WAS A HIGH WING FLOATPLANE LNDG ON RWY 36. ADDITIONALLY, AN SMA RPTED (CTAF 122.9) ENTERING DOWNWIND FOR RWY 36 AT CRANLAND. I FLEW MY ACFT NW, DSNDING TO 1100' 5 MI OUT, REVERSED COURSE AND ENTERED DOWNWIND FOR RWY 36 (ALSO ANNOUNCED POS OVER 122.9). THE SMA, NOW ON GND, CALLED OUT SEEING A TWIN TO THE W. AS I TURNED BASE LEG, I CAUGHT SIGHT OF A RED AND WHITE SMA Y AT THE SAME ALT, PASSING OVER THE END OF RWY 36, HDG E. I ANNOUNCED TURNING BASE LEG AND LATER TURNING FINAL FOR RWY 36 OVER CTAF 122.9. CRANLAND ARPT HAS A 1800' GRAVEL RWY ORIENTED N/S, WITH 20-30 TREES OVER THE END OF RWY 36. DURING THE LNDG FLARE I WAS CONCENTRATING ON THE LNDG. AFTER T/D AND DECELERATING, I LOOKED UP AND SAW THE SMA Y ON LOW FINAL FROM THE OPP DIRECTION. THE SMA Y EXECUTED A GAR, BUT NOT BEFORE DSNDING TO WITHIN 50' OF THE GND. AT THE TIME OF THE GAR, MY ACFT WAS OVER HALFWAY DOWN THE RWY AT LESS THAN 30 KTS. NO EVASIVE WAS TAKEN, HOWEVER MY ONLY POSSIBLE OUT WOULD HAVE BEEN TO ROLL OUT OFF THE RWY. DURING THE TIME FROM 5 MI OUT TO THE ROLLOUT, I NEVER HEARD THE SMA Y ON CTAF OR WAS AWARE OF ITS INTENTIONS. MY RADIO WAS OPERABLE AS I WAS TALKING TO OTHER TFC IN THE PATTERN.
