Narrative:

I was in an small transport twin approaching WV16 for landing. Had announced position on 122.9 and was talking to operator. I just caught a glimpse of a bmb approximately 1/4 mi in front and maximum 200 ft lower. At that point, the bmb was nearly directly over the airport. There was no time to take evasive action. The MTR is directly over the airport and numerous times the military units are very near the traffic pattern altitude. The MTR needs to be moved away from the traffic pattern. I suggest that the portion of MTR VR1758 be removed from the MTR system and use MTR 1754 as the routing through the area. WV16 is located near N39-03.8 and W79-25.8.
