Narrative:
Cpr X light transport agc-mss, requested FL410. Air carrier X widebody transport sfo J70 jfk at FL370. I climbed cpr X to FL410, assigned aircraft heading 120 to parallel J70. I assigned air carrier X heading 070 to intercept J70. Wind out of northwest at 60 KTS. Assigned air carrier X 040. Somewhere, in assigning headings, cpr X took a heading assigned to air carrier X, which led to less than standard separation. Listened to tapes afterward. Can't tell when cpr X took wrong heading.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: CPR X HAD LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION FROM ACR X. SYSTEM ERROR.
Narrative: CPR X LTT AGC-MSS, REQUESTED FL410. ACR X WDB SFO J70 JFK AT FL370. I CLIMBED CPR X TO FL410, ASSIGNED ACFT HDG 120 TO PARALLEL J70. I ASSIGNED ACR X HDG 070 TO INTERCEPT J70. WIND OUT OF NW AT 60 KTS. ASSIGNED ACR X 040. SOMEWHERE, IN ASSIGNING HDGS, CPR X TOOK A HDG ASSIGNED TO ACR X, WHICH LED TO LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION. LISTENED TO TAPES AFTERWARD. CAN'T TELL WHEN CPR X TOOK WRONG HDG.
