Narrative:

We were given an initial altitude of 5;000 ft for the climb out of apc. After the departure the pilot not flying contacted departure and was given a further climb to FL190. Somewhere between 4;500 MSL and 6;000 MSL our TCAS gave us a TA quickly followed by an RA to monitor vertical speed; and a descent was initiated by the pilot flying. After the traffic conflict was over the pilot flying continued the climb and the pilot not flying contacted departure and notified them of the RA.
