Narrative:

Aircraft X flight finished refueling and wanted to proceed via filed route. I could not route aircraft X to the fix using the route key and the uret flight plan. My d-side routed aircraft X with a 6-7-10 amendment. When I displayed the route on the dsr; it showed aircraft X turning south 10nm prior to military airspace. I questioned aircraft X when I realized the flight was not turning south and came to the conclusion that the fix the computer had displayed on the dsr earlier was the next fix on his route. The host and the uret showed the flight going to a fix but the displayed route did not show this fix. Recommendation; uret should never be programed to add or delete anything the controller enters. It should be allowed to offer suggested routes; which could be accepted or denied by the operator.
