Narrative:

During the normal climbout; we experienced an ECAM involving the loss of the green engine driven hydraulic pump with no apparent fluid loss. The yellow system through the ptu kept the green system pressurized normally. The first officer was the pilot flying through the event as I handled the ECAM and coordinated contact events with dispatch and flight attendants. I declared an emergency and coordinated a return to the departure airport. The first officer landed uneventfully. Taxied to the gate was uneventful.

Title: An A320 ECAM alerted G HYD Press Low after the engine driven pump failed during climb so an emergency was declared and the aircraft returned to the departure airport for a normal approach and landing.
