Narrative:

Right at vr and rotating for takeoff; we heard a loud bang. After calling for gear up; we received a master warning gear disagree message. The right main gear indication was red. We contacted ATC; climbed to 4;000 ft and the captain complied with the QRH procedure. The gear came down and indicated locked down. The QRH instructed us to land at the nearest suitable airport. We were talking to approach and returned to land. During the process; we did our best to contact dispatch and operations. We sent ACARS messages and called maintenance. The landing was normal. Taxied to the gate. We were swapped to another aircraft and the flight was dispatched again.
