Narrative:
Bird strike on nose of medium large transport on captain's side. Struck nose, then windshield. Aircraft speed was 230 KTS. No damage to aircraft. Considerable damage to bird. Never saw it until it hit.

Narrative: BIRD STRIKE ON NOSE OF MLG ON CAPT'S SIDE. STRUCK NOSE, THEN WINDSHIELD. ACFT SPD WAS 230 KTS. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO BIRD. NEVER SAW IT UNTIL IT HIT.
