Narrative:

I believe that I have located the source of the water which is causing the emergency exit lighting (eel) lights in the main galley to fail. The employees of company X; a contracted aircraft cleaning service; who are our aircraft cleaners; have been observed pouring out the contents of one liter water bottles onto the galley floor mat and swishing the water around. The water will flow to the mat's edge and slip under the black rubber mat. Eventually the water will short out the feeder cable eel light outlet.
