Narrative:

Was given the task to clean minor corrosion off lh/rh electro-mechanical actuator in nose landing gear (nlg) wheel well in march 2010 around xa:30 on an emb-145. I was the only one involved in this event. At the time this event took place I was sure I was cleaning the corrosion off the right connectors in nlg for the lh/rh electro-mechanical actuator.during the investigation of in-flight emergency (ife) and the loose line found in the nlg; a review of all the maintenance that was performed in the nlg wheel well was conducted by quality assurance (qa). After this review it was brought to my attention that I cleaned off the wrong connectors in nlg wheel well. At time I was given this task; I was sure that I was cleaning the right [or correct] connectors.this event occurred because I cleaned corrosion off the wrong connectors in nlg wheel well for these electromechanical actuator connectors.

Title: A Mechanic reports an EMB-145 had an in-flight emergency due to a loss of their #1 hydraulic system fluid in flight. A hydraulic line was found loose in the nose landing gear (NLG) wheel well where the reporter had just completed cleaning corrosion from connectors for the electro-mechanical actuators.
