Narrative:

2 aircraft cleared to taxi, one from FSS and one from delta tie-down, both proceeding to runway 24. 1 aircraft proceeded down alpha taxiway and the other down bravo taxiway turning right onto alpha. Aircraft on alpha didn't see aircraft turning on to alpha from bravo and aircraft on bravo looking into setting sun didn't see aircraft on alpha. By the time each pilot saw the other aircraft, the wingtips were about to make contact. Both pilots turned away from each other, applied brakes, shut down engines, and got out of their planes. Aileron contact was made with minor skin damage to each aircraft. The planes were carefully manually separated. Both pilots taxied to fuel pump area, clearing the taxiway in less than a minute. Both planes were inspected and found to be airworthy. Pilots exchanged names, addresses and phone numbers, and have kept in contact. As of this date, each pilot is taking care of damage to his own aircraft, and both are in agreement as to the circumstances of the incident and the resolution of the incident.
