Narrative:

I was captain on air carrier ycg. We had been rerouted over tallahassee, fl, because of WX over fl. We were cleared by ZJX to descend from FL330 to FL270. I thought it was a little early, so I emphasized air carrier ycg on my readback. As we passed through heading 150 degrees ZJX again called and said, 'maintain FL330 and turn 30 degrees right.' we were at FL315 (approximately) at the time. We climbed immediately back to FL330. ZJX then told company xcg (I believe that is the correct call sign) to descend to FL270. We then continued to mco. We were 20 mi southwest of tallahassee. Supplemental information from acn 93666: ZJX issued a clearance, 'flight something-C-G, descend to FL270.' since the flight number was not clear, the captain repeated the clearance emphasizing our call sign.

Title: ACR LGT ALT DEVIATION, EXCURSION FROM CLRNC ALT, IN RESPONSE TO WRONG CALL SIGN.

Narrative: I WAS CAPT ON ACR YCG. WE HAD BEEN REROUTED OVER TALLAHASSEE, FL, BECAUSE OF WX OVER FL. WE WERE CLRED BY ZJX TO DSND FROM FL330 TO FL270. I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE EARLY, SO I EMPHASIZED ACR YCG ON MY READBACK. AS WE PASSED THROUGH HDG 150 DEGS ZJX AGAIN CALLED AND SAID, 'MAINTAIN FL330 AND TURN 30 DEGS RIGHT.' WE WERE AT FL315 (APPROX) AT THE TIME. WE CLBED IMMEDIATELY BACK TO FL330. ZJX THEN TOLD COMPANY XCG (I BELIEVE THAT IS THE CORRECT CALL SIGN) TO DSND TO FL270. WE THEN CONTINUED TO MCO. WE WERE 20 MI SW OF TALLAHASSEE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 93666: ZJX ISSUED A CLRNC, 'FLT SOMETHING-C-G, DSND TO FL270.' SINCE THE FLT NUMBER WAS NOT CLR, THE CAPT REPEATED THE CLRNC EMPHASIZING OUR CALL SIGN.
