Landing on runway 35 with winds 320 at 12 gusting to 25. Just prior to touchdown wind was given as 280 at 18 gust to 35. On roll out the aircraft weather vaned and the left main wheel left the asphalt and went into the grass. No damage.

Title: A Forest Service Aircraft Captain on a checkride lost control of the aircraft during landing so one wheel entered the grass after the wind shifted to a 70 degree crosswind at 18 gusting to 35. Control was regained and no damage or injury resulted.
