Narrative:

I copied the clearance on the ground before departure. I had trouble understanding the guy on the clearance delivery. I read the clearance back after I copied it. 'Cleared to cle, 328 degree radial, intercept J-211, etc.' the captain and I discussed the departure. Most of what we talked about was the noise abatement procedures. I took off and was climbing steep so we would be quiet, as the procedures require. We went in the clouds soon after takeoff. Departure control asked us if were cleared to turn and track the 328 degree radial, the captain replied 'yes.' they gave us a left turn and I turned. The departure controller then said we should have turned because of prohibited area 56.
