Narrative:

ZAB controller failed to make a handoff on air carrier X to ZLA prior to entering their airspace. Air carrier X was an large transport at FL310. When we observed the limited data block (computer generated) on the aircraft we had air carrier Y climbing that was on a converging course with air carrier X, who was now in our airspace. We issued clearance to air carrier Y to expedite his climb through FL330, and no other action had to be taken. Supervisor was made aware of the situation at time of incident.
