Narrative:

Visual approach to runway 24R. Approximately 1;500 ft gear down and flaps at 20; captain asked for flaps 25. Airspeed within limits. Flap handle placed to 25 and flaps stopped between 20 and 25 degrees. EICAS message of 'trailing edge flaps disagree.' captain executed a go around. I ran procedure in QRH. Emergency declared. Visual approach performed to runway 25L. Landing uneventful; taxied to gate.
