Narrative:

The SID was a departure using vors. While intercepting the radial; ATC reported our course appeared to be off about 10 degrees. We noted it at the time. The next day in the same aircraft we kept getting intermittent 'heading' caution flags on both pilot pfds and noted up to a 15 degree differential between all three heading instruments: both pilot rmis and the wet compass (using the calibration card). Maintenance was consulted in flight and I also notified ATC of the problem with no assistance required except 'to keep an eye on us'. The RNAV function appeared to be working fine. Maintenance took the aircraft for action.
