Narrative:

My clearance was G581 R583 tpe direct maintain FL350. Upon contact with naha control, we were cleared saban direct bisis fpr, climb and maintain FL390. Approximately 15 mins later I requested to deviate right of a line of thunderstorms that was 120 mi in front of us. This was approved by naha control (119.3). Several mins later when we were parallel to the line we were told to turn left to a heading of 220 degrees. I refused stating we would fly a heading of 250 degrees. A heading of 220 would have taken us into several circuit breaker's. Moments later we were informed that we were entering warning area west 179 and that we were to maintain visual sep from aircraft. I did not hear 'radar contact lost.' I asked why we weren't cleared to deviate to the left a hundred mi back so we could have avoided both the thunderstorms and N179. No answer. A few mins later we were told we were clear of west 179. I responded that I would call when we were finished deviating and were returning to course.
