Narrative:

We were given our IFR clearance from cvg with the lovey 2 departure and told to expect runway 27. Upon taxing out we were given runway 36 which changes the departure procedure. During the departure climb at approximately 6000' we were given direct zabal intersection. We turned left and southerly towards zabal and the controller asked us which fix we were navigating towards; we replied zabal and he told us to turn to a heading of 350 to avoid restricted airspace. We complied and we checked the waypoint in the FMS. I noticed that the waypoint was misspelled as zabel. Unfortunately there is a zabel intersection in the vicinity and was input incorrectly by a crew member. We did not enter restricted airspace nor did we cause a conflict of air traffic. We were told to contact ATC when we landed; we explained the error and apologized for the mistake.
