Narrative:

After performing cabin module checks on a B767-300 aircraft; it was witnessed that the contract cabin cleaners were removing the breakover pins that provide the security to hold the seat upright on the new first and business class seats. This has a high potential for pins being incorrectly installed or left out which can cause the seat to fold forward and cause injury. On the cabin check card item 1 states to check proper installation of these pins and cleaners are usually cleaning after these checks are performed. In the previous month we performed the cabin check on a different B767-300; after cabin cleaning; and found several pins missing or not properly installed; this is documented in our maintenance computer history.
