Narrative:

I took off from hanscom runway 11 and was clrd for a right downwind departure behind a slower moving aircraft. I asked the tower the direction of flight of the aircraft ahead and was told that the normal departure was left. The aircraft ahead turned right on a heading of approximately 200 degree - 240 degree and I turned right to approximately 290 degree to avoid the traffic. After clearing the airport control zone I called boston center twice to get radar advisories and was told that I was unreadable. I climbed to 3000 ft and proceeded towards putnam on a direct LORAN track to farmingdale. After clearing the TCA as indicated by LORAN and a position fix near bosox I climbed and called boston center and asked for radar advisories to farmingdale. The controller now gave me a squawk code and asked me my altitude. I told him I was at 6000 ft and indicated after his reply that I would climb to 6500 ft. The controller came back and told me I had violated his (TCA) airspace. I indicated that I was well out of the TCA before I started my climb. When I was leaving the boston airspace and approaching bradley I was told that I should call boston after arrival at farmingdale. When I did so I was told that I would be issued a warning for climbing through the TCA. In my opinion I was not in the TCA dn the controller was possibly tracking the previously departing traffic from hanscom B.

Title: ALLEGED PENETRATION OF THE BOS TCA.

Narrative: I TOOK OFF FROM HANSCOM RWY 11 AND WAS CLRD FOR A R DOWNWIND DEP BEHIND A SLOWER MOVING ACFT. I ASKED THE TWR THE DIRECTION OF FLT OF THE ACFT AHEAD AND WAS TOLD THAT THE NORMAL DEP WAS L. THE ACFT AHEAD TURNED R ON A HEADING OF APPROX 200 DEG - 240 DEG AND I TURNED R TO APPROX 290 DEG TO AVOID THE TFC. AFTER CLRING THE ARPT CTL ZONE I CALLED BOSTON CENTER TWICE TO GET RADAR ADVISORIES AND WAS TOLD THAT I WAS UNREADABLE. I CLBED TO 3000 FT AND PROCEEDED TOWARDS PUTNAM ON A DIRECT LORAN TRACK TO FARMINGDALE. AFTER CLRING THE TCA AS INDICATED BY LORAN AND A POSITION FIX NEAR BOSOX I CLBED AND CALLED BOSTON CENTER AND ASKED FOR RADAR ADVISORIES TO FARMINGDALE. THE CTLR NOW GAVE ME A SQUAWK CODE AND ASKED ME MY ALT. I TOLD HIM I WAS AT 6000 FT AND INDICATED AFTER HIS REPLY THAT I WOULD CLB TO 6500 FT. THE CTLR CAME BACK AND TOLD ME I HAD VIOLATED HIS (TCA) AIRSPACE. I INDICATED THAT I WAS WELL OUT OF THE TCA BEFORE I STARTED MY CLB. WHEN I WAS LEAVING THE BOSTON AIRSPACE AND APCHING BRADLEY I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD CALL BOSTON AFTER ARRIVAL AT FARMINGDALE. WHEN I DID SO I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE ISSUED A WARNING FOR CLBING THROUGH THE TCA. IN MY OPINION I WAS NOT IN THE TCA DN THE CTLR WAS POSSIBLY TRACKING THE PREVIOUSLY DEPARTING TFC FROM HANSCOM B.
