Narrative:
During descent from 10 to 6000 I observed a white t-tail glider at my 9 O'clock position at my same altitude. My altitude was 8000' heading 240 speed 230 KTS being vectored to runway 01 by wichita approach. I turned right to avoid the glider. I told approach and then he picked the glider up on his radar very faintly about every third sweep. We landed and I filed a near midair collision report with wichita tower.
